Only 1 Can Claim The Coveted Chicken Dinner.
OGN has partnered with PUBG to bring you the 2019 National PUBG League, featuring the best pro teams and the best teams from the North American qualifiers to compete for a total of 1 Million Dollars in prize money!
The action began on January 7th with the first preseason matches to determine which teams will join each tier of competition. 32 total teams were chosen through invitation and online qualifiers to face off live from the OGN Super Arena for a prize pool of $100,000. More importantly, the top 16 teams then advanced to the NPL where they battled it out through Phase 1 of the season. The remaining 16 teams will be placed into the NPL Contenders tier, which will have opportunities for promotion into the NPL throughout the season.
Phase 2 was filled with excitement and suspense. The teams that participated were a mixture of the top 10 NPL teams from Phase 1 and NPL-C teams that made it out of Relegation. After 6 weeks of competition, it ended with a huge comeback from Tempo Storm. Throughout the split, they were performing as a mid-tier team but when it mattered most, they climbed to the top, becoming the first and only Back to Back Champions. Not only have they won Phase 2, but they walked away with the grand prize of $100,000.
Now that Phase 3 is nearing, the top 10 teams of the split will get the chance to rest and prepare while the bottom 6 teams are forced into Relegation. Then, they will compete with the top 10 teams from NPL-Contenders to battle in the NPL.
The teams participating for Phase 3 are posted below!
